Maintaining a valid Aged Care Training certificate

The Ausmed Aged Care Training Passport is made up of 8 training activities. In order to receive a certificate, you must complete all 8 training activities within 12 months.

In order to maintain a valid certificate, you must complete each training activity at least once every 12 months.

For example, if you complete Fire Safety on June 1st, 2022, you must complete Fire Safety again before June 1st, 2023, for your certificate to remain valid.

If any of the 8 training activities in the passport are not completed within a 12-month period, then your certificate will expire.

If your certificate expires, simply complete the training activities which have expired to make your certificate valid again.
