Your manager might assign you some optional training through Ausmed to help with your professional development. You're not required to complete optional training, unlike mandatory training.
Optional training is labelled "[Optional]" in your assigned learning list in My Organisation, so you can easily tell it apart from mandatory training. There's no due date, so you can do it whenever you like.
If you don't plan on completing optional training, you can remove it from your assigned learning list using the instructions below:

Remove optional training (web):
1. Log in to your Ausmed account
2. From the top navigation bar, click on “My Organisation”:
3. Navigate to the Due section of your Assigned Learning list.
4. Locate the optional training you would like to remove from the list and click the Remove button.
Can’t see the Remove button? The assigned learning may be mandatory, therefore it can’t be removed. You can check if the assigned learning is optional by:

5. Click Yes, Remove to confirm.
6. Once removed, the assigned learning item will no longer be visible in your assigned learning list, and the manager that assigned the learning will be able to see you have removed it.

Remove optional training (Ausmed CPD app)
1. Log-in to the Ausmed CPD app.
2. Click on Dashboard, then under My Organisation click on the name of your organisation.
3. From the Overview page, navigate to the Due section of your Assigned Learning list.
4. Locate the optional training you would like to remove from the list, and click the Remove button.
Can’t see the Remove button? The assigned learning may be mandatory, therefore it can’t be removed. A few ways to check if the assigned learning is optional:

5. Click Yes, Remove to confirm.
6. Once removed, the assigned learning item will no longer be visible in your assigned learning list, and the manager that assigned the learning will be able to see you have removed it.
